Born Nov. 12, 1909, at Cabin Creek, Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Charley S. and Juda "Cathy"
Buchanan Tilley.
"Mrs. Green was a devoted Christian, loved the Lord and loved attending church. She loved being close to her family
and friends and especially enjoyed family reunions. Her husband, Virgil, was a quiet man, so we knew the reunions
were a time mother could have a lot of people to talk with.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Green, brothers, Archie Tilley, Ray
Tilley, Paul Tilley, Bill Tilley and Fred Tilley; and sisters Ina Gunter, Virgie Reid and Corbia Pendry. She was also
preceded in death by a son-in-law, Virgil Adams Jr.

Pineville; a son, Kenny Green and wife, Laura, of Princeton; a sister, Bonnie Rose of Houston, Texas; a brother, Boyd
