Clyde loved to tell stories of his life, fishing with his friends and family but most of all he loved being The Best Pap to his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Carnitta Sue Simpson Keyser. Survivors include his children Beth “Trevor” Miller, Jason Keyser (Chris Gaskins), Kathleen (Jared) Maynor, grandchildren Weston Starling, Jacey Miller, Hayden Browning, Sarah Browning and Isabella Maynor, step grandsons Drake Maynor and Brody Taylor, siblings Mike Anna Keyser, Herald Gloria Keyser, Carolyn Montgomery, Debbie Joe Lambert, Jackie Napier Samatha Ball, a special nephew and his family who stuck by him Mike Carolyn and Heather Lambert, and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest next to his wife. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 23rd at the Clear Fork Advent Church, 5764 Clear Fork Road, Clear Fork, WV 24822. "Ralph Winston Cline, 80, of Avondale, WV passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1946 in Baisden, WV a son of the late Elliot Bud and Elzada Cline. Ralph was a member of the UMWA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by and infant granddaughter Brittney Cline, a sister Alma Cline and a brother Johnny M. Cline. Survivors include his companion of 20 years Shirley Cline, a daughter Tonya Dawn Trent of Matewan, two step daughters Jennifer (Timothy) Dawson of Bradshaw and Christine Powell of TX, three sons Ralph A. Cline of Baisden, Brandon W. (Tabitha) Cline of Morgantown, and Logan Cline of Avondale, two step sons David (Jennifer) Powell of Premier, and Daniel (Brandi) Powell of Big Sandy, two sisters Fonda (Bill) Adams and Darlen of Richmond, VA, two brothers Randy Cline and Rutherford (Glenda) Cline both of Baisden, twenty three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13th at the Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church, Baisden, WV with Moderator Ivan Blankenship and Assistant Moderator Freddy Cline officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cline Family Cemetery, Baisden, WV, with Bro Ralph Munson officiating graveside service. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12th at the church with an evening service beginning at 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
