"Timothy Scott Bailey, 68, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his residence."Tim was born February 5, 1958 in Welch, WV a son of the late Denzel and Ethel Matney Bailey.
"In addition to his parents Tim was preceded in death by his brothers, Benson Bailey and Denzel Ray Bailey (Linda Bailey).
"Tim wore many hats throughout the years, providing for his family as a coal miner in his earlier age, a crane operator and a truck driver. Tim also worked in construction and helped to complete the Federal Prison in Beckley, WV. Tim loved his co workers at H&M Electric in Covington, VA.
"Tim was an amazing father to his one and only son, Timothy Dale Bailey, whom he loved to hunt and fish with. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on nice days. Tim was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was loved by all who knew him. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his kind, compassionate and humble spirit.
"Those left to love and cherish Tim’s memory are his son, Timothy Dale Bailey (Amber Bailey) of Beckley, Patrick Brian Bailey (Latisha Hager) of White Sulphur Springs, Tillie Denise Cline (Jeff Wellman) of Baisden and Kathy Wade (Ernest Wade) of Princeton. Tim had a dear friend, whom he loved like a brother, James Whitt of White Sulphur Springs. The family would like to thank James for being such a great friend to Tim and checking on him daily.
