"William Wesley Morgan, 46, of Lillydale, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born on April 24, 1979 in Beckley, WV a son of Emma Toler Morgan of Oceana and the late William Floyd Morgan. He was a 1997 graduate of Oceana High School. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Azzie and Martha Morgan, and maternal grandparents William and Pearl Toler. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son William Reed Morgan of Dobson, NC, a sister Tina (Mike) Judge of Fishersville, VA, and nephews Austin Judge and Marshall Judge. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 14th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. Bill Elkins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cline Family Cemetery, Sun Hill, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. "


Tommy Shawn Belcher

"Tommy Shawn Belcher, 59, of Lillydale, WV passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at his home. He was born November 2, 1966 a son to the late George W and Mary M Vint Belcher. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Gary “Pee Wee” Belcher and Shane Belcher and his grandparents Harry and Virgie Kidd Vint and Callie and Violia Blankenship Belcher. He loved life, he fought hard but he never gave up. Tommy was a bus mechanic for the Logan County Board of Education for many years, he loved his family deeply, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping when he was able to. He was known for his kind and joking personality. His favorite bible verse was John 3:16-17 “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved.” Those left to cherish his memory include his twin brother Timmy Belcher and wife Trish, his sister Tawanna Lambert and husband Billy, niece Mary K Toler and husband John, nephews Zakk Belcher, Clint Smith, and Billy D Lambert, a great niece Lindsey Walker and great nephews Bentley Walker, Jaxon Belcher, Avery Belcher, and Waylon Belcher, his lifetime friend Dewayne Cook, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 8pm on Friday, March 13th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Roy Trent officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 7pm until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated following the service. "James Walter Toler, 86, of Coal Mountain, WV departed this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 13, 1939 in Man, WV a son of the late Carlos and Pearl Toler. Jim worked as a coal miner for Island Creek Coal Company for many years. He was a member of the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church. He was a man of faith, joy and unwavering love. He found great comfort and strength in attending church where he enjoyed singing for the Lord. He had a gift for making people laugh and loved bringing smiles to everyone around him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Toler, a son Randy Toler, step children Velma Cline, Virgie Harper, Ernestine Christian, Elestine Ellis, Loretta Harper and Margie Brown, brothers Jack Toler, Bill Toler, Matthew Toler, Paul Toler and Robert Toler, sisters Annie Brown, and Mavis McCleese. Those left to cherish his memory include his children Jessie (Lisa) Toler, Helen (Greg) Hatfield, and Charlotte (Zeke) Southard all of Coal Mountain, his step children Darrell (Anita) Toler of Elk Creek, Arnold (Beatrice) Toler of Sevierville, TN, James Toler of Oceana and Phyllis (Samuel) Cline of Huntington, sisters Barbara Short of Clear Fork, and Tina Toler of Man, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 10th at the Coal Mountain Freewill Baptist Church, Coal Mountain, WV with Rev Johnny Toler, Rev. Roger Browning and Rev. James Ellis officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Big Cub Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Coal Mountain, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8 pm on Monday, March 9th at the church. Pallbearers will family and friends.
