"Stanley Jeffrey, 70, of Rock View, WV, passed away on January 24, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1955 in Man, WV a son of the late Bill and Beatrice Powell Jeffrey. Stanley was a great father and grandfather. He made us all laugh when he did a great Donald Duck impressions. He was a kind hearted man who would always be there for people. He was a football fan who loved Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Stanley loved to watch his westerns, especially John Wayne. He also loved listening to John Denver. His favorite song was Take Me Home Country Roads. He loved his family so much. He also loved going to Florida to visit his children and grandchildren. He also loved taking the grandchildren to Chuck E. Cheese. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Jeffrey, sisters Kathy Brunty, Marsha Vanover, Robin Jeffrey, brother Steven Jeffrey, a son-in-law Ben Trego, and brother-in-law Richard Vanover. Survivors include two daughters Valeria Trego, and Olivia Jeffrey, a son Charles (Christine) Jeffrey, step son Mike Goode, step daughter Amanda Goode, granddaughters Amanda Trego, Alina Trego, Ariel Trego, and Salisha Schlichting, grandsons Aiden Trego, and Reznor Jeffrey, aunt Gertie, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Arlene Scrotsky, 78, of Welch passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton. Born June 14, 1943 in Mullins she was the daughter of the late Joe Bandy and Glady Wyatt Bandy. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Welch Church of God, at Maitland Circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Scrotsky; one son, Johnny Scrotsky; one brother, Franklin Bandy and one sister, Joanne Sears.
Those left to cherish her memories are two son, Stanley Scrotsky of Welch, Allen Scrotsky and fiancé Rosia Rotenberry of Welch; one daughter, Annie Smith of Welch; one brother, Glen Bandy and wife Helen of Winfield, AL; and many grandchildren.
There will be no visitation and no funeral services at this time.
Following the deceased wishes the body has been cremated.
