"Jessie Louise Blevins, 71, of Connelly Springs, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Born in Caldwell County, NC on August 23, 1945, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Ellis, Sr. and Lois McGee Ellis. Louise loved to do anything outdoors, especially camping. She enjoyed raising chickens and rabbits and was a friend to all who knew her."A wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, Mrs. Blevins is survived by a son, Jerry Hudson; a daughter, Robyn Hudson; grandsons, Dalton Hudson, Levi Woody, David Clark, Randall Derrick, and Bryson Hanna; granddaughters, Haylee Hudson, Tiara Hanna, Calie Price, and Lexis Childers; siblings, Wanda Lovejoy, Roger McGee, Wayne Ellis, Susie Woods, Cathy Franklin, Bobby Ellis, and Brenda Ellis; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
