"Roger Dale Coburn, 73, of Cyclone, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. He was born on June 7, 1952 in Cyclone, WV a son of the late George “June” and Sarah “Chug” Bailey Coburn. Roger was a coal miner of Eastern Coal Company for 13 years. He loved to hunt, fish, ginseng, watch sports and wrestling. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Kay Coburn, brothers Douglas Coburn, and William Lawrence Coburn, and sisters Juanita Coburn, Anne-Mae Coburn, Deloris “Lois” Jean Coburn Daniels, Flora “Sissy” Coburn Bailey and Macie Marie Coburn. Those left to cherish his memory include a son Jason Dale Coburn of the home, three brothers Bo “Boo” Coburn of Cyclone, James “Hoss” Coburn and his companion Ava Riddles of Claremont, NC, and Curtis Coburn and wife Lisa of Cyclone, a sister Patricia Coburn Shook of Cyclone, special friends Jerry Morgan and Donald Morgan both of Cyclone and a host of nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, February 7th at Toler Baptist Church, Campus, WV with Rev. Billy Gibson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Home Sweet Home Cemetery, Lorado, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 pm on Friday, February 6th at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. "Sharon Lynn Kenneda Stokes, 67, of Coal Mountain, WV passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her home following a long illness. She was born on November 2, 1958 in Pineville, a daughter of the late Willie and Dolly Woody Kenneda. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Danny Kenneda and Willie Dean Kenneda and her sister Levon Lowe.
