"A local retail produce dealer, Robert Louis Parker, 57, died unexpectedly Tuesday at 11;30 a.m.
at his 509 E. 65th St., residence.
"A native of Clarks, Mr. Parker ahd lived in Shreveport for the last 48 years. He was a member of
Cedar Grove Methodist Church.
"Survivors include his wife; two sons, J. Ray Parker and Paul Burrow, and three daughters, Mrs.
D.R. Shows, Mrs. Gilmer Garrett and Mrs. Alford House, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Hugh
Shelton of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ronald Eubanks of Denver, Colo., and seven grandchildren.
"Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of First National Funeral Home
with the Re. John Winn, pastor of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, officating. Serving at pallbearers
will be Jim Watner, Dick Austin, Horace Stephens, Johnny Rucker, Wat Lindsey and J. D. Warren.
