"Betty Lou Harvey, 98, of Oceana, WV went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born on December 8, 1927 in Richwood, WV a daughter of the late Oley William and Nellie Sue Wickline Clay. Betty attended the Delilah Methodist Church until her health declined. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband William Calvin Harvey, II, and a son William C. Harvey, III. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter Tina Ward, a granddaughter Melissa Peck Blankenship, a grandson Aiden Blankenship, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, December 31st in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Hannibal Blankenship, Jr. officiating. She will be laid to rest in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11 am until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Zendyl Ray “Sambo” Prince Sr., 57, of Mallory, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, leaving from Dignity Hospice House at Chapmanville, after a courageous battle with cancer.

"He was born December 18, 1960, in Hamlin, the son of the late Ermel Prince and Audrey Lee Davis.

"Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherry Prince; three children, Zendyl Prince Jr. of Simon and Gregory (Cheltsie) Prince of Winfield; one daughter, Stephanie Prince of Mallory; two brothers, Ermel (Barbara) Prince of Mallory and Jackie (Lisa) Prince of North Vernon, IN; two sisters, Tammy Prince of Stollings and Amy (Sheldon) Ellis of Davin; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

"Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Davin Baptist Church at Davin.

"Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, 9-29-2018, at the Davin Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

She was born on February 3, 1964 in Man, WV a daughter of the late Benjamin Paynter and Lydia Mae Robinette. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Zendyl Prince, Jr., her step mother Nancy Paynter, her step father Frank Grimmett, two sisters Tara Paynter and Tangee Paynter, and a brother Robert Paynter. Those left to cherish her memory include her fiance` Michael Morgan and his two sons Michael Morgan, Jr. and Nicholas Morgan, a son Gregory Prince, a daughter Stephanie Prince and her fiance` Michael Brock, two sisters Tonja Laramie and Betina Paynter, a brother Dakota Paynter, a sister-in-law Tina Paynter, seven grandchildren Jacob, Anna, Jade, Jayden, Jazmyn, Keegan, and Ali, and a host of other loving family and friends.
