"Linda Sue Adams, 69, of Bull Creek, WV, a lifelong resident of McDowell County, went home to be with the lord and into the arms of her daughter, who she spent 12 long years waiting to see on October 14, 2025. Born to the late Burl and Carona (Bailey) Davis, Linda was a loving, strong, and caring woman who brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her heart was big, her spirit genuine, and her love for her family and friends was endless. She was married for 36 years to the love of her life, Robert Adams, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion. Linda was a woman who never met a stranger. She loved to talk, laugh, and spend time with her family. Though her heart ached deeply after the passing of her beloved daughter Selena, her family finds peace knowing they are together again, reunited in Heaven and free from grief. She was of the Baptist faith and carried her faith quietly but firmly throughout her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents Arlin and Martha (Lester) Davis and Theodore and Nancy Jane Bailey, her beloved daughter Selena Renee Justice, her sister Geraldine (and husband Oliver) Kirk, brother Fred (Seaford) Keaton, half-brother Bill Reynolds, brothers-in-law John R. Justice and James (Tiny) Lusk, and her beloved “bonus daughter” Hope Dotson. Linda was a proud mother to Malinda Michelle Justice (fiancé Flemming Mullins Jr.) of Iaeger, and Amberlee Beth (Timothy) Justice of Isaban. She was also a cherished grandmother to Wendy (Gregory) Mullins of Jolo, Jade Mills (fiancé Anthony Kelly) of Raysal, Madison Mills of Iaeger, and Aidan Justice of Isaban. Her joy was further multiplied by her two great-grandsons, Gabriel Owen Mullins and Weston Kade Mullins, both of Jolo. Linda is survived by her sisters Lona Justice of Panther, and Ethel Lusk of Princeton, and half- sisters Ruth Amenhouser of OH Gracie Blankenship of NC and Shirley Mathews of NC, along with many beloved friends including Danny and Brenda Cline, RoseMary Birchfield, and Tara Bailey and her little buddy Jace Bailey, all of Bull Creek. Funeral services will be held at Panther Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, October 19th, at 7 PM and Monday, October 20th at 12 PM with Pastors Corey Smith and Jeffery Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Bailey Cemetery, Ison Branch Road, Bull Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6pm on Sunday October 19th at the church.
