"Carol Sue Kennedy, 63, of Bartley, WV, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family."Carol was born September 2, 1961, in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Donnie and Dora Mullins Cooper. Carol was a cook for the McDowell County Commission on aging for 24 years. She was a momma for 44 years and loved her grandbabies and her fur baby, Cole. Carol loved yard sales and traveling.
"In addition to her parents, Donnie and Dora Cooper, Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and Jimmy Cooper.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband and companion of over 34 years, J.D. Serving as pallbearers will be sons-in-law, Sean Roberts, Stephen Hagerman, Billy Mullins, Chris Hale and grandsons, Issac Hagerman and Hunter Roberts.
