"Anita Kaye Morgan Lusk, 66, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 14, 1959 in Mullens, WV a daughter of the late Alex and Gretchie Walker Morgan, Jr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Rodney Lusk of 25 years, and two sisters Donna Clay and Glenda Blankenship. Survivors include her daughters April Whitlock and Kortni Ratliff and husband Devin, sisters Delphia Blach and husband Eric, Vivian Janasiak, Aretta Chatham and Marcella Blevins and husband Edward, grandchildren Jacob Day, Jasmyn Day, Arabella Day, Callista Halsey, Easton Ratliff, Rodney Jace Ratliff, and Wyatt Ratliff, a great granddaughter Clemintine Wright, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, August 15th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Ricky Proffitt officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Walker Cemetery, Cedar Creek, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends. She was born on May 20, 1945 in Oceana, WV a daughter of the late Jack and Agnes Cook Rider. Linda was a 1963 graduate of Oceana High School and employed for over 20 years by the Wyoming County Board of Education. She was a dedicated member and pastor’s wife at the Oceana First Baptist Church. She will be loved and greatly missed by all of the community. Survivors include her loving husband that she was with for over 20 years, Pastor Jerry T. Cook, two sons Randy Allen and wife Cherrie of Oklahoma, OK and Scott Allen of Oceana, a step daughter Karen Growe of Pineville, a brother Robert Rider and wife Jo of Roanoke, VA, her grandchildren Laurel Allen, Jaren Staley, Addison Allen, Kaydence Allen, Cristian Allen, Hannah Halsey and husband Zach, and Michael Growe, a great grandson Matthew Halsey and one on the way, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 13th at the Oceana First Baptist Church, Oceana, WV with Rev. Ron Acord officiating.
