"He is survived by his wife Janice (Pittman) Pizzino; daughters Sabrina Pizzino, Samantha Pizzino and Tabitha Pizzino; son Anthony Pizzino; sisters Debbie Hargis and Pam Pizzino; brother Danny (Glenda) Pizzino and grandchildren Triston, Andrew and Elijah.
"He is preceded in death by his parents John B. and Velma McGlothlin Pizzino.
"Rchard was working in the recycling business. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go to either the mountains of West Virginia, or to Lake Cumberland. One of his greatest joys was hanging out with his Seniors Citizens friends in Nicholasville. Richard was an avid history buff and a fan of Monday Night Football. Of all of his joys, his greatest joy was his children and grandchildren.

"Darrin Charles Hawk, 54, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on January 7, 1970 in Columbus, OH a son of Lorane Morgan Hawk of Pilot Mt, NC and the late Danny Clifton Hawk, Sr. He graduated from Oceana High School, Oceana, WV in 1988. He was very active in basketball, tennis and golf. He loved golf, baseball the WV Mountaineers and his family! He was of Christian faith and loved his God. Darrin was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents of Charlie and Juanita Morgan of Matheny, WV and Clifton and Eva Hawk of Columbus, OH. He is survived by his companion and caretaker, Lex Deitz, brother, Danny Hawk, Jr. (Amy) of Kernersville, NC, two sons, Garrett Hawk, and Payton Hawk (Jessica), two grandsons, Silas and Cash (due in December), and Shane Hawk, the mother of his children, all from Greenville, SC. Darrin had two special nieces Cortney Hawk and Candace Marshall (Seth) along with their three children, Isaac, Izzy and Layla, of Princeton, WV, and a host of special Uncles, Aunts and Cousins, whom he loved. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the Oceana First Church of God, Oceana, WV with Rev. Terry Morgan and Rev. Ty Morgan officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11 am until time of service on Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
