"Kathyrn Kay “Kathy” Morgan Dancy, 71, of Pineville, WV, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born on January 22, 1954 in Pineville, WV a daughter of the late Raymond “Bud” and Corba Adkins Morgan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Lendal, a sister Crystal Jane, grandparents Susie and Willie Adkins, Lundy and Frankie Morgan. Survivors include her two fur babies Snickers and Little Bit, sisters Diana (Gary) Younce of Mill Creek, Cindy (Chuck) Lester of Baileysville, Rebecca “Becky” (Phil) Martin of Beckley, Teresa (Steven) Hill of NC, Belinda (Scott) Langley of NC and Priscilla (Nathan) Hall of GA, her companion of 35 years Tim Perdue, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Tuesday, July 29th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Steve Acord officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Privett Cemetery, Key Rock, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 4 pm until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bowers Hospice House. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Milka Thomas Walls, 99, of Davy, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Wyoming Healthcare Center, New Richmond, WV. She was born on June 17, 1926 in Landville, WV a daughter of the late Nick and Mary Elliot Thomas. Mrs. Walls was a 1945 graduate of Man High School. She worked for Red Jacket Coal Company as a cashier of Coal Mountain, a house wife and of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years Jay H. Walls, three sisters Ivy Ann Hoskins, Eloise Thomas Smith and Edith Catherine Wallace, three brothers Harry, Steven and Frankin N. “Buddy” Thomas, a granddaughter Angelia D. Darnell, a great granddaughter Logan Paige Darnell, three brothers-in-law Fred Wallace, George Smith and Henrey Hoskins. Survivors include her son Malcolm Jay Walls of Brier Creek, a granddaughter Mandi (Mike) Grimmett, a grandson Basil Lee Walls (Christina Adkins), great grandchildren Hunter Thomas Darnell (Keyona Osborne), Layne Tucker Grimmett, Brody Travis Grimmett and Adeline (Toby) Grimmett, a great great grandson Daxon Slade Darnell, a grandson-in-law Danny Darnell, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, July 30th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Lea Fisher officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11 am until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
