"Timothy Ray “Tim” Smith, 68, of Kopperston, WV went home to be with his Lord on Monday, June 30, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 26, 1956 in Logan, WV a son of the late Lena Cleveland and James Smith Sr. Tim was a beloved brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his larger than life personality and his humor. He is survived by his brother James “Jimmy” Smith and wife Patty, and a sister Mary Benfield and husband Bob, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of his life will follow with his family in Lakeland, FL. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Troy Enoch Reed, 68, of Stephenson, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 10, 1956 in Mullens, WV a son of the late Coy and Jeanettie Osborne Reed. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers Amos Buford Reed and Shredrick Ray Reed, three sisters Avis Mae Reed, Lucy Lynie Reed and Lottie Crick Reed, his best friend Jim Halsey. He was a logger and a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Survivors include three daughters, Tina Kidd of Rhodell, Alina Shrewsburry of Amigo and Salley Reed of Rhodell, five sisters Rachel Alie Reed, Genie Ellin Reed, Sally Ann Reed, Bonnie Lue Reed and Vannie Lee Reed, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Graveside service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, July 9th at the Walker Hatcher French Cemetery, Odd, WV, with Pastor Mickey Mitchell officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
