"Catherine Allen Kelly, 67, of Jolo, WV passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 in Princeton, WV at the home of her son, Jimmy Lee Kelly."Catherine was born April 8, 1958 in Iaeger, WV a daughter of the late Glen and Hazel Thornsbury Blankenship. Catherine was a loving wife and mother; she was a cook for the McDowell County School System for 17 years and enjoyed fishing.

"Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Kelly of the home; two sons, Jimmy Lee Kelly and wife Kendra of Princeton and Leslie Eugene Kelly and wife Valerie of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Jake, Alyssa, Michael and Clay; one sister, Betty Mullins and Elzie of Jolo, two brothers, Johnny Blankenship and wife Sarah of Jolo, and Glen Blankenship Jr. and wife Donna of Yawkey, WV.

"Georgetta Kaye Walker Baxter, 55, of Baileysville, WV, formerly of Pax, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born on July 16, 1969 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Jesse and Patricia Harper Walker, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Roger Baxter, an infant daughter Jessica Walker, two brothers Jesse Lee Walker, Jr. and Kenneth Walker, a sister Dora Lusk, a niece Cassandra Walls and a nephew Charles Anthony Lusk. Survivors include a son Jeremiah Walker of TN, two sisters Lenore Walker of Chapmanville and Melissa Terry of NC, a niece who she called a sister and who she made her home with Misty Godfrey and husband David of Baileysville, great niece and nephews who she helped raise Jasmine Godfrey, Jaxton Godfrey, Ethan Godfrey, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 16th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Barry Brooks officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pax Community Cemetery, Pax, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 1 pm until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
