"Dennis Jarrett Lester, 72, of Hanover, WV, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025."Dennis was born June 14, 1952 in Iaeger, a son of the late Elmer and Faye Lester. Dennis worked for US Steel for 34 years and was a member of the UMWA. Dennis served as pastor for 33 years at the Pads Fork Freewill Baptist Church. His life’s mission was to win souls for Christ and to share God’s love. He was a gifted Sunday School teacher. He touched the lives of many and will be missed by all.
"In addition to his parents, Elmer and Fay (Granny Fay) Lester, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Judy Lester; siblings, Terry Lester Sr. and Debbie Cline; brothers-in-law, Freddie Morgan and Eddie Ray Ellis; sister-in-law, Ella Mae Lester; and a nephew, Mark Lester.
