Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

"Roger was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country proudly for six years. With his deep appreciation for spending time in nature, his position as Building Maintenance Supervisor at Twin Falls Resort State Park proved to be the ideal location for him to work until his retirement.
"When he wasn’t enjoying time with his family, or taking one of his frequent nature walks, he could be found tending to his garden.
"He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Pamela Johnson; two sons, Kelly Wayn Johnson and Kevin Lee Johnson and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Ryan Lee Johnson and Lucas Steele Johnson; brothers, Barry Johnson and Timothy Johnson and wife Kay; and a host of extended family and friends.
