"Della Blevins Holbrook, 91, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Wyoming Healthcare Center in New Richmond."She was born August 2, 1933, in Kentucky to the late William Blevins and Lucy Cornett Blevins.
"A longtime member of Brenton Baptist Church, she dedicated many years of her life to the Bible School program. She and her friend, Sally Mitchell enjoyed spending countless hours assembling holiday fruit baskets for church members, a task she took immense pride in. When not working on church projects, she enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Colon Holbrook; her daughter, Christine Morris and husband Eddie; three sisters; three brothers; and her dear friend, Sally Mitchell.
"Two children, Jeff Holbrook and wife Deana and Joan Hamrick and husband Jimmie survive Della. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kile Holbrook and wife Amanda and Kelsey Holbrook; and three siblings, Russel Blevins, Jonnie Woods, and Ellen Blankenship.
"Funeral service will be Thursday April 3rd 2025 at 12:00pm at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Service Chapel in Pineville. Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the funeral service."
