"Mrs. Grace Crockett Alley, 78, a resident of Williamson for at least 40 years died at her home December 7, 1949. She was the widow of Lloyd Alley. Grace was born January 15, 1871 in Tazewell County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Emma Whitney Crockett. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Williamson. She was survived by five children; Mrs. Henry Stingley, Mrs. Walter Varney, Mrs. Ernest Tomit, Mrs. Viola Varney, and Mr. John Alley; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Ireson, and a brother, Claude M. Ireson; six grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the First Methodist Church and interment followed in Fairview Cemetery."Complete obituary can be found in the

Born June 18, 1936 in War, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ancil Overbey and Sally Deskins Overbey Bucko."Constance was a co-owner if the War Home Center. She was graduate of Big Creek High School and attended Concord University. She was a member of the War United Methodist Church.
