Born August 19, 1954 in Panther, he was the son of the late Minerva Bea McCoy Roberts and Ervin Roberts."Troy was a disabled coal miner and a member of the U.M.W.A. He was an avid Nascar fan, especially Jimmy Johnson and he loved fishing, he was a real family man.
