"Mrs. Ada B. Hayes, 80, of Anawalt, died Friday in a Welch hospital following a long illness. She was born in Grayson County, Va., daughter of the late Jessie and Ellen Davis Hash, and was a member of the Church of God."She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Hayes in 1971.
"Survivors include four sons, Wyley Hayes of Sugar Grove, Va., Allen, John, and Jim Hayes of Thorpe; three daughters, Mrs. Cary (Pearl) Mitchem of Thorne, and Mrs. Erie (Georgia) Presley of Anawalt, Mrs. John C. (Pauline) Dillon of Anawalt; two sisters, Mrs. Bailey Fox of Princeton, Mrs. Fred Fowler of N. C.
