"Johnny was born July 25, 1946 in Iaeger, WV a son of Tom and Lou Collins Lockhart. He was an Army Veteran and a retired coal miner from US Steel with 23 years. Johnny was a member and trustee of the Johnnycake Church of the Living God. He loved going to church with family and friends where he played piano and guitar with a passion. Johnny was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and waving at everyone who passed; he enjoyed riding his side by side with his wife Julia, and was loved by all who knew him."In addition to his parents, Tom and Lou Lockhart, Johnny was preceded in death by one son, John Christopher Lockhart; two brothers, Victor and Clayton Lockhart; one sister, Janice Auville; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Faye Vernatter; and one brother-in-law, Timothy Vernatter,
