"In addition to her parents Jan was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Marie Mullins, Patricia Jenks and Barbara Steele; one brother, Andy Lee Jenks; her maternal grandparents, Mary Bell Jenks and Andy Underwood and her paternal grandmother, Ethel Christian.
"Survivors include her husband, Timothy Blankenship of the home; three sons, Andrew Jenks of Pea Patch, VA, Dustin Byer of the home; and Derik (Samantha) Little of Ocean Cove, NJ; two brothers, Tommy (Deniece) Jenks of Raysal and Donald (Martha) Jenks of War, WV; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
"Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock Thursday, June 29, 2023 with Reverend Tommy Jenks officiating at the Three Forks Church of God at Jolo, WV. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger. Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Blankenship, Hayden Deskins, Chad Jenks, Shane Blankenship, Jefferey Underwood and Brandon Jones.

"He is a retired miner, and a resident of Bradshaw for th past 35 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
