Kathy Ann Hawkins, 70, of Welch, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her residence. Born November 11, 1954 in Welch, she was the daughter of late Carl Jack Clemins and Betty Mae Overbee Clemins.
Kathy was a home health care worker for the McDowell County Commission on Aging and she was a member of the Hemphill Holiness Church."In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hawkins; one daughter, Alice Marie Ratliff; one brother, Carl Dale Overbee; two sisters, Terrie Sullivan and Gloria Abshire.
"Those left to cherish her memories are one son, Robert Parker and wife Jessica of Bluefield, WV; one daughter, Robin Parker Mullins and husband Henry of Welch; six brothers, Ronnie Clemins and Earlene of Welch, James Clemins and Melissa of Bluefield, WV, Adam Clemins and Barbie of Gastonia, NC, Charles “Banjo” Clemins and Candie of Welch, Richard Clemins and Margaret of Brushfork, Brian Clemins and Joanna of Welch; five sisters, Ruth Champ, Leila Johnson, Carol Hairston, Crystal Combs and David all of Welch, and Lisa Cooper and James of Duffield, VA; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Shantell, Kimberly, Sarah, Austin, Aaron, Kasey, Shawn, Zachary; fourteen great grandchildren, Joseph, Brooklynn, Owen, Addison, Abel, Gabe, Cameron, Cooper, Everlee, Baylor, Bowen, Jeremiah, Xadrian and Kanan; and one special nephew, Jake.
