"Terrie Marie Clemins Sullivan, 67, of Versailes, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence in Versailes. Born April 5, 1956 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Carl Jack Clemins and Betty Mae Overbee Clemins."Terrie was a homemaker and she was of the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Dale Overbee and one sister, Gloria Jean Abshire."Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bennie Sullivan Jr. of Vinton, OH; one son, Ellis Dotson of Cleveland, OH; three daughters, Jamie Robinson of Wilmington, NC, Anglea Brown of Versailes, KY, Natosha Wentworth of Nicholasville, KY; six brothers, Ronnie Clemins and Earlene, Charles “Banjo” Clemins and Candie, Richard Clemins and Margaret all of Welch, James Clemins and Melissa of Princeton, Adam Clemins and Barbie of Charlotte, NC, Brian Clemins and Joanna of Hemphill; five sisters, Kathy Hawkins, and Ruth Champ both of Hemphill, Leila Johnson and Carol Harriston, both of Welch, Crystal and David Combs of Premier; two grandchildren, Kyler Sullivan and Zoei Wentworth.
"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the Helping Hands Hemphill Holiness Church in Hemphill with the Reverend Earlene Clemins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurt-Mullins Cemetery at Hemphill.
"Friends may call at the church Thursday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM.

"Billy Ray Bailey, 93, of Beaver formerly of Pineville passed on Tuesday June 6, 2023."Born October 13, 1929 in Baileysville, he was the son of the late Ray Bailey and Geneva Bailey Fralic. From an early age Billy Ray made his home with his grandparents John and Goldie Bailey.
"He graduated from Baileysville High School, Concord College and earned his master’s degree from Marshall University. He was a teacher, counselor and school administrator. He retired as Superintendent of Pocahontas County Schools. After his retirement from education, he became active in several businesses.
"Billy Ray attended Beckley Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Pineville United Methodist Church. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of several other service organizations. He loved golfing, fishing in Canada and spending time in Key West.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Hatfield Bailey and his brother, Eugene Bailey.
"He is survived by his second wife, Joy Scott Bailey; two sons, John Bailey and wife, Karen and Dr. Glenn Bailey and wife, Vanessa; two stepsons, Todd Scott and Derek Scott; five grandchildren, Michelle Bailey McKinney and husband, Jay, Amanda Bailey Beacom and husband, Brandon, Ryan Bailey, Erin Bailey Steel and husband, Adam and Stephanie Bailey Whiteman and husband, Jeremy; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Bailey.
"A memorial service will take place at 2:30, Sunday, June 11 at Evans-Calfee Funeral Service in Pineville, the Rev. Monte Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 until the time of service."
