Danny was born February 17, 1957, in Jolo, WV, a son of the late Ase and Brizie Blankenship Ratliff. He worked in the mining industry as a mechanic, welder, and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the UMWA; loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; and enjoyed deer hunting. In addition to his parents Danny was preceded in death by his God parents, Tom and Velma Sparks, a nephew, Mark Stone, and special friends Perry, Phyllis and Jeff Crosier. WV a daughter of Geraldine New of Brenton and the late Eugene New. Ina was a member of the Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church and the Brenton Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to her father Eugene New, a son Johnny New also preceded her in death. Ina enjoyed camping, fishing and many other outdoor activities. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and family. Those left
to cherish her memories are her loving mother Geraldine New of Brenton; a son Roy New and wife Christie of Glover; her grandbabies Paisley, Audree, Kayla, Abigil and Aiden; a brother Herbert J. New
and wife Barb of Hanover; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held
at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Shannon Mill Creek, WV, with Bro. Wayne Bailey and Bro.Barry Brooks officiating. She will be laid to rest in New

"Johnny Lee New, 25, of Gloucester, VA formerly of Brenton, WV passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016
at his home. He was born on June 9, 1990 in Welch, WV a son of Ina Jean New of Brenton and Garland
Eugene Burchette of Princeton. Johnny was a 2009 graduate of Westside, worked as a pipeliner; former
employee of Upper Laurel Ambulance Company, Virginia DOH and Randy's carpentry and landscaping and
was a former member of the Brenton Volunteer Fire Department. Those preceding him in death are his
grandparents Eugene New, Treely and Lucinda Burchette; second mother Ellen Dennis; and best friend
Justin Wimmer . Survivors include his parents; a son Aiden Christopher New; a sister Pamela (Mike)
Crowder; step sister Rebecca Johnson; brothers Roy (Christy) New and Tommy (Brandy) Burchette;
grandmother Ina Geraldine New; special nieces Paisley New, Audrey New and Casey Crigger; an uncle
Herbert New and companion Barbara; best friends Robby Dennis and Tyler Lester; and a host of other
loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26th at the Brenton
Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Knotts and Rev. Wayne Bailey officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm
Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV...."
