Phyllis was born on September 25, 1948 in Panther, WV a daughter of the late Bob and Maggie Cline.
Throughout her wonderful life she met Ronnie L. Steele, her husband and one true love of 53 years,
together they lived of the Jesus faith and raised five children. Mrs. Steele enjoyed attending church with
her husband and pastor Mr. Steele, son Danny Steele, and family. Cooking huge meals for her family and
always giving out seconds, and playing along with her grandkids. Phyllis was loved by many including,
sister in-laws, brother in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents she is
preceded in death by three sisters Jean Sawin, Doris Pierce and Florine Cline. Survivors include her husband Ronnie L. "Bobby Randall Steele, 62, of Brenton, WV passed away on October 24, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born on November 5, 1962 in Welch, WV a son of the late Charlie and Betty Muncy Steele. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. At just 17 years old, Randall began a career that would span more than three decades, driving an eighteen-wheeler hauling coal through the hills and valleys of West Virginia. For 35 years, he remained committed to this demanding profession, embodying the resilience and strength that defined so much of his character. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Elizabeth Steele, with whom he shared a life built on love and mutual respect. Together they raised two children, a son Charles Steele, and a daughter Samantha Steele (Hubbard). His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, he adored his four grandchildren Cheyenne, Isabella, Diana and Jaxon Hubbard and found great joy in watching them grow. Randall is also remembered by a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews who survive him. Randall will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to those he loved and the legacy of hard work he leaves behind. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A graveside service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, November 3rd at the Shannon Cemetery, Baileysville, WV with Rev. Chris Lester officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
