Patty was born February 2, 1942, in Raysal, WV, a daughter of the late Justina Phillips and the late Walter Muncy. Patty was the youngest of the family and enjoyed saying; she was her daddy's baby girl. In 1958, Patty married the late Dennis Coburn. Together they enjoyed hunting, the love of dogs, four wheeling and Bluegrass festivals. Her children remember the countless hours she spent in the garden, canning, and picking berries. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. In addition to her parents and husband; she is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Johnny Cooper; a special grandmother, Maw-Muncy and a great-grandchild, Ryan Helbert. Survivors include three children; Susan (Donald) Workman of Lashmeet, WV; Ronnie (Vicki) Coburn of Jewell Ridge, VA; Denise Cooper of Asheboro, NC; six grandchildren; Dawn Parsons, LaCosta (Rocky) Hodges, Traci (Walter) Estep, Landon (Stefanie) Coburn, Kela (Gary) Palmer, and Katie (Matthew) Atkins; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Josephine Moore and Ruby Rife.
