"She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Diane Farmer and husband Jeff of Elbert, WV. Two grandchildren Michael Farmer and wife Jennifer of Elbert, WV and James Farmer of Elbert, WV. Two great grandchildren, Luna Farmer of Florida and Willow Nicole Farmer of Elbert, WV. A special niece and nephew whom she raised, Patty Snyder of Elkton, MD and Sammy Martin of Princeton, WV. "Nancy L. Broom, 83, of Pineville, WV passed away peacefully Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born in Logan, WV to the late Rush and Maxie Hall, graduated from Logan High School in 1951 and obtained a business administration certification from WV Community College. She was married to the late Alfred Broom and they moved to Pineville in 1957 where they owned and managed a successful business which she sold in 1984. After which she was elected to the position of Town Recorder in Pineville, a position she held until she retired in 1998. After retirement Nancy continued to remain involved in her community and regularly worked for the Wyoming County Board of Elections as an early voting Poll Commissioner. Among her many community services she remained active in her much loved Beta Sigma Phi sorority in which she was an active member from 1962 until her passing. She was also very involved with her church home, Pineville Southern Baptist Church, where, as a founding member, she actively worshipped and gave back in any way she could to help others; such as making weekly visits to assisted living communities where she shared conversation, laughter and her huge heart filled with love. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Alfred. And she is survived by her four children: her son Bill Broom of St. Petersburg, FL; her daughter Linda Arbogast and husband Sheldon of Manassas, VA; her son Alfred Dale Broom of Concord, NC; and her daughter Twila Franklin. She is also survived by two grandsons, Matthew and Alan Arbogast; three granddaughters, Heather Franklin, Jessica Mullens, and Brandee Mullens; as well as 9 great grandchildren and two brothers, Kyle Hall of Teays Valley, and Thomas V. Hall of Crooked Creek, WV." Nancy always brightened a room with her big warm smile and her family thanks the many, many friends and neighbors who loved her, made her happy and brightened her life as she did theirs. Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm, Wednesday, May 3rd and a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, May 4, 2017 at the Pineville Southern Baptist Church, followed by graveside services at Highland Memory Gardens in Pecks Mill, WV...."

Beulah was born August 1, 1944 in Isaban, WV, a daughter of Elsie Lester Cline and the late Lenuel Dick Cline. She was a homemaker and loved shopping at Wal-Mart and rummage sales. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one grandson, John David Roberts.
