"Patty took an early retirement from the West Virginia school system in 1989. She then began a career with the Culpeper County School system as the Director of Special Education. In January of 1992, she married retired Col. Jack E. Fincham. They moved to Brenton in June of 1997.
"Patty was an active member of Cook Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family. Patty was a strong Christian lady and will be greatly missed by all.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny, Bernie “Sonny” and Frank Jenkins and a step daughter Cathy Fincham.
