Born on February 13, 1943, at Daleville, he was a son of Lillie Barnett Lee of Roanoke and the late Amos W. Lee, Sr. He had been a resident of Troutville for all of his life and was a member of the Holiness Church. He was a retired truck driver and a former employee of North American Van Lines. He was a member of the Bramwell Masonic Lodge #45 and was also a member of the Beni Kedem Temple. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by three sisters. He was the former husband of Ann Lee of Daleville and daughter, Janine Billock. Survivors include, his mother, Lillie Barnett Lee, of Roanoke; four daughters, Cheryl Beckner of Christiansburg, Donna Jo Kennedy of Troutville, Libby Ann Green of Troutville and Lori Edwards of Troutville; three brothers, Fred Lee of Cloverdale, Aubrey Lee of Yadkinville, NC and Johnny Lee of Richmond; four sisters, Glenda Jennings of Buchanan, Juanita Duvall of Daleville, Frances Drewry of New Castle and Chelby Jean Secrist of Lithia; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Kennedy, Melissa Lee, Bradley Lee, Brandon Lee, Joshua Beckner, Ashleigh Green, Chris Welch, Chelsea Edwards, Tessa Edwards, Lauren Edwards and a grandchild due in June.
