"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Grady Martin and Allen S. "Rudy" Martin; father-in-law, Ashby Brown; mother-in-law, Lula Brown; 13 siblings and a great granddaughter, McKinley Martin.

"CYCLONE — Allen Stephen "Rudy" Martin, 42, departed this life Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Bowers Hospice House with his sister Andrea and husband Tim at his side.
Born January 30, 1967, in Welch he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rubert Martin and Helen Spence.
Rudy worked as a carpenter and in the coal industry, attended Oceana High School.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and being outdoors. He will be missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ashby and Lula Brown; a brother, Grady Martin; and a niece McKinley Martin.

Rehab, Gary, WV. She was born on January 14, 1950 in Cyclone, WV a daughter of the late Rubert Lee and
Berta Maxine Brown Martin. For the past few years of Helens stay she sang at the services at the nursing
home. She had weekly visits from Jada, Charlie and Melba and visits from Denise and David, she enjoyed
time with family and friends. She enjoyed the yearly trip to the Labor Day Celebration. She enjoyed her
activities and Bingo. Helen will be loved and missed. Her statement to those she loved was always love you
morether. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Grady Martin and Allen
"Ruddy" Martin. Survivors include a son Kristopher Spence of Kopperston; two sisters Melba Tolliver of
Cyclone and Andrea Martin of Beckley; seven grandchildren McKalah, Dylan, Kailyn, Paityn, Tyler, Matt and
Jada, who was her daily sidekick; one great grandchild; and a host of other loving family and friends.
