He was the son of the late Robert Arch Waldron and Lillian Crabtree Waldron Blaylock."In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three brothers, Robert, Charles, and Larry Waldron.
"Survivors include, his wife of forty-three years, Connie Waldron of the home, two sons, Larry Waldron and Wife Johanna of Winston-Salem, N.C., William “Chuck” Waldron and wife Kristan of Gary, WV, one daughter, Laura Ray and husband Andrew of Charlotte, N.C., three brothers, George Waldron and wife Libby of Welch, WV, David Waldron and wife Karen of Austin TX, Danny Blaylock of Bluefield, WV, four sisters, Nancy Blaisdell of Gary, WV, Linda Dickens, and husband Del of Kalamazoo, MI, Betty Sloboda and husband Steve of Cleveland, OH, Edwina Caldwell and husband Bucky of Myrtle Beach, S.C., he had three precious grandchildren that he loved and enjoyed very much, Jared, Connor, and Kinsey. He had a golfing buddy Kenny Fowler (Killer) that he spent many times golfing with; and two of his best and closest friends, Cliff Smith, and Tim Ellison. In keeping with his request the body has been cremated.
"A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 12 Noon at Gary # 10, Gary Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Virgil Green Officiating. Those wishing to visit with the family are asked to be at the Gary # 10, Gary Pentecostal Holiness at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
