"Rosa Lea (Lowe) Stacy went to be with her heavenly father on July 8, 2023, at the beautiful age of 79. She was loving, kind-hearted, and generous person to all that she came in contact with. Being widowed in her early years of marriage, she dedicated her life to her children and still found time to volunteer and help others. During these years, she developed into the strong independent woman that showed compassion and a great deal of spunk for life."After her children were grown, she moved to Lexington, North Carolina to work and make a life for herself. She enjoyed attending church and loved the Lord with all her heart. Her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was unconditional and she enjoyed every moment with them while sharing some of her talents teaching them to crochet and sew. Throughout her years she enjoyed reading, her favorite book was the Bible, and she would make time daily for the Lord. Rosa left a legacy with her innumerable crocheted blankets and dolls that were given to many as keepsakes, celebrations, and births. She will be missed dearly by many and remembered for the love she had for the Lord and others. Now she is resting in the arm of Jesus.

"Born at Mohawk, he was a son of the late Hannibal and Rebecca Sullivan Dotson, He was self -employedin logging and timber and was a coal truck driver. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Churchwhere he served as minister for 15 years in the Frewell Baptist Ministry. He was preceded in death by one sister, one brother, three half brothers, two grandchildren and on great grandchild."Survivors: wife, Claudia Hunt Dotson; daughters, Mrs. dora Hatfield of Mohawk and Mrs. Patsy Lester of Bllground, Ga.;sons, Heardie Dotson of Iaeger, Luther Dotson and Glen Dotson, both of Mohawk, Russell Dotson of Argo, Ky. and Marvin Dotson of Mt.
