"Claudia Hagerman, 79 of Bartley, WV passed away peacefully with family at home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 after being under hospice care for a short period of time. Born October 18, 1946 in Bartley, WV, she was the daughter of Joe Rose and Stella Davis Rose."Claudia was a member of the Roderfield Community House of Prayer where she worshipped the lord. She loved to crochet and enjoyed working in her yard anytime she could manage to do so; but it was her kids and grandkids who brought purpose, joy, and excitement to her life. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother who is going to be missed for her sense of humor, feistiness, and fighting spirit.
"Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Donnie Hagerman of Yukon, WV and Steven and Missy Hagerman of Yukon, WV; five daughters, Pamela and Burt Kennedy of Bartley, WV; Charlotte and Chris Brown of Bluefield, WV; Jennifer Jones of Yeager; Paula and Richard Muncy of Warriormines; and LeeAnn and Billy Mullins of Warriormines; and numerous grandkids, great grandkids, and great-grandkids who all had a special place in her heart.
"She is preceded in death by Frank Rose, Woody Rose, Virginia Hager, Joseph Cliford Hagerman, Jr. (son), James Jones (son-in-law), Sidney Collins (daughter-in-law), Tina Hagerman, Johnathan Jones (grandson), Paul Muncy (step grandson), and special daughter in-law Carol Kennedy.
