"Eva was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. In her leisure she enjoyed walking when her health permitted it and she had a special love for animals. She especially enjoyed witnessing and sharing about her Lord and Savior.
"In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Whitt; two sons, Ronald Reed and Roger Dale Reed; one niece whom she helped raise, Jeanie Jenkins; one brother, Jay Mullins; and two sisters, Martha Hicks and Beulah Hicks.
"Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Lana Christine Beavers of Pineville; a son, William Jay "Billy" Reed of Stephenson; two sisters, Betty Bishop of North Carolina and Madeline Mullins of Virginia; two brothers, Robert Mullins and Charlie Mullins both of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
