"Princeton - Mrs. Cecile Howerton, 87, of 109 Hilltop Lane, Princeton, died peacefully and quitely late Monday evening, July 24, 2000, at the Princeton Community Hospital."Born Sept, 3, 1912 in West Virginia, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rgers Street Community Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Howerton; one brother, Edgar Clevers; and one sister, Clara Anders.
"Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Patricia Nelson and husband, James of princeton; two grandchildren, Freddie Nelson, and Dwayne Nelson and wife Alice; great-granddaughter, Brooke
Alexandria Nelson; special friends, Shirley Harmon, Edna Nelson, and Linda Lanterns."Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Rev.
