"Barbara "Ann" Santmyer, 89, of Oceana, WV went home to be with the Lord Saturday January 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 18, 1929 in McComas, WV to the late Joel Henderson Repass and Barbara Ellen Earls. She was the last surviving member of her family, a devoted lifetime member of the Oceana Church of God and a beautiful Godly example. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her."In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Santmyer; five brothers George (Lucille), Bill (Evelyn), Cameron (Shirley), Archie (Sue), and Robert (Joann); three sisters Mary (Early Cook), Virginia (Carl Sizemore) and Clara (Cecil Brown).
" Survivors include her daughter Linda (Gary) Huffman of Fairdale; three grandsons Nicholas (Gidget) Huffman of Lincoln County, Adam Huffman (Fiance' Charity Massey of Oceana and Jordan Huffman of Fairdale; a great grandson Remington Huffman of Lincoln County; she was a second mother to several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
"Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday January 25th at the Oceana Church of God with Bishop P. Randall Bowles. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11AM until time of services on Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be grandson Nicholas Adam and Jordan Huffman and great grandson Remington Huffman, Jackie Repass and George Terry. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
