"Lany Ray Shepherd, 49, of Oceana, WV was called up by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday May 14, 2019 at
Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV following a short illness. He was born on September 13, 1969 in
Mullens, WV a son of the late Virgil Ray and Norma Blondine Blankenship Shepherd. Lany is a 1987
graduate of Baileysville High School. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by aunt Inez
Lawrence; and two uncles Earl and Freelen Shepherd. Survivors include his wife Michelle Lynn Addington
Shepherd; a son Dalton Shepherd; step daughter Brooke Lynn McCourt; two sisters Nellie Tuttle and Lisa
Rowe of; uncle Roy Shepherd; niece and nephews Chris Morgan, Justin Rowe, Neah Morgan, Zachary
Rowe and Dalton Shepherd; and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes he
will be cremated and a memorial services will be held at a later date. The family is being served by the
Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Roy Neil Perry, 57, of Gilbert WV, succumbed to illness on Monday, September 2, 2019 at his residence."Neil was preceded in death by his father: Roy Perry; mother: Glenna Toler; his daughter: Misty Ann Lane; as well as his brothers: Emmit, Rocky, and Wayne Fields.
"Neil was a loving father and friend to everyone. He was a simple man that knew how to take the good with bad in life. Everyone that knew him, could see he had an extraordinary heart. He spent most of his time watching NASCAR, College football, or his favorite TV re-runs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and speaking to his children over the phone. It will be very difficult to let him go, but good to know he is in a better place. Neil was a member of the Horsepen Southern Baptist Church.
"Those left to mourn his loss are his son, Anthony (Sheree) Perry; daughter: Brandy (Shane) Davis; and his grandchildren: Christyan, Holton, and Remington. Neil also left behind grandchildren from his late daughter, Misty: Corey, Dakota, Dustin, and Lindsay. In addition, Neil leaves behind his sister: Diana (Mike) Francis; brothers: Terry Perry, Glenn (Diane) Fields, and David (Renae) Fields, as well as his nieces and nephews.
"His service will be held at Horsepen Southern Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Family will gather at 11:00 a.m. and close friends are welcome from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will not be held.
"Neil will be carried to his finally resting place at Hollywood Cemetery by family and friends. Rev. Billy (Sabrina) Manuel will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to Mounts Funeral Home."

"Misty Ann Lane, 36, of Brenton, WV gained her angel wings on Tuesday May 21, 2019 in McDowell County,
WV. She was born on August 4, 1982 in Mullens, WV a daughter of Nadean Lane Hurley of Mullensville and
the late Neil Perry. Misty was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and niece. She was a beautiful soul
and loved nature and butterflies. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandparents Lee
and Credith Lane; uncles Eddie, Dean and Roger Lane; aunt Christine Milam; cousins Timmy and Dennis Lane
and Pauline Milam. In addition to her mother survivors include a daughter Lindsey Newcomb; three sons
