"Reverend William Daugherty, 85, of Bradshaw, WV, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, in Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. William was born February 3, 1933, in Hurley, VA, a son of the late Hyson and Ada Justus Daugherty. He was a disabled coal miner. William enjoyed preaching the word of God, painting and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, Pandora. In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Miles and Jimmy Daugherty, and one sister Anna McClanahan. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lois Woods Daugherty of the home; one daughter, Tiffany Daugherty of Princeton, WV; two step daughters, Michelle Daugherty and husband Okie of Lexington, SC and Teresa Davis of Grundy, VA; two step sons, John Kennedy of Lexington, SC and Terry Kennedy of Conway SC; one granddaughter, Pandora Kelly of Princeton, WV; several step grandchildren; one brother Jerry Daugherty of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 9, 2018, at 12 o’clock with Reverend Cory Baker officiating at the Jesus Church of Bartley in Bartley, WV. Burial will follow in the Woods Cemetery at Oozley near Rockridge, WV."
