She was a homemaker, gardner, and seamstress. She was also a member of the Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church.

"William A. England, Jr., 94, of Welch passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gary.
Born May 11, 1921 in Wyoming County he was the son of the late William Arvid England and Betsy (Lester) England. He was a former Circulation Manager with the Bluefield Daily Telegraph, and retired as McDowell County Superintendent with the Department of Highways. He was a veteran of the US Army having served from 1939 to 1945 in World War II. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Audra Morgan England.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son of Welch; a daughter of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren of Bluefield. He was the last surviving member of his original family.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 1 at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entombment will follow the service...."
