"Frankie was born March 20, 1952, in Bradshaw, WV, a son of the late Claude W. and Clara Osborne Payne. He worked in the coal mines when he was young, then became an EMT; after that he was a part time firefighter then a night watchman. He may have stopped working but he didn't quit gardening and going in the woods to find wood. He was the best father, bother, uncle, cousin, and friend you could ever ask for.
