Douglas was a member of the UMWA where he worked and retired. He enjoyed staying in touch with his family, watching racing and sports on tv and cutting up with his friends and family.
"He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Dawson, his brothers Woodrow, Ernest, Wilburn, Roy, Eugene and sister Lorraine.
