"He resided in Skygusty the greater part of his life. He was a former auto mechanic for Picklesimer and Mabe-Cartwright Motors. He was amember of Blackwolf Southern Baptist Church in Skygusty. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in WWII serving in the Italian Campaign and a member of McDowell Lodge 112 A.F. & A.M., American Legion Post 8 of Welch and Barns-Beavers and VFW Post 7136 of Tazewell. He was a retired mine foreman from Cannelton Coal Co. at Superior.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Harman Wolfe, in 1993; four brothers and three sisters.
