is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Amos Duncan; four sisters Dixie Tilley Brown, Irene
Duncan, Betty Jo Daughtery and Avonelle Snively; a brother Leonard Parsley; and two sons-in-law's Leon
Jones and Joseph (Joe) Britton, Sr. She is survived by her children: Harold Duncan and wife Linda, Delores
Elkins and husband Jeffrey, all of Lynco, WV, Peggy (Jones) Harless and husband Ed of Oceana, WV, Phyllis
Britton of West Union, WV, Linda Young and husband Scott of Newport News, VA, and Terri Womack and
husband Mark of Bluefield, WV; siblings James Raymond Parsley and wife Rose of Phoenix, AZ, Ruby Eary
and husband Verl of Las Vegas, NV, Anniebell Sloop and husband Ken of Topeka, KS, and Billie Jean
Armstrong of Columbus, OH; eleven grandchildren: eighteen great- grandchildren; seven great-great-
grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friend. In keeping with Mother’s wishes there will be
no visitation and only a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Monday February 6, 2017 at the Kopperston

"Jeffrey Scott "Bodine" Blankenship, 43, of Charleston, WV, formerly of Oceana, went home to be with the
Lord on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born on April 28, 1973 in Man, WV, the son of Larry and Vickie
Aliff Blankenship of Clear Fork. Jeffrey was a former Paramedic in L.E.A.S.A. in Logan County, a mine safety
instructor at Southern WV Community and Technical College in Logan, a volunteer at the Oceana Volunteer
Fire Department for many years and most recently worked for WV DOH in Wyoming County. Jeffrey
"Bodine" never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew and worked with him. Most of all, Jeffrey
loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was always telling others of his love for the Lord. In addition to his parents
survivors include his loving wife Mary Leigh Ellison Blankenship; son Samuel Elias Blankenship; sister Kelly
Blankenship of Hurricane; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00
PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with
Pastors Hannibal Blankenship and Erwin Gregory officiating and Eulogy by Matthew Ellison. He will be laid

Jimmy was a member of the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, the UMWA District 17 and a coal miner for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing. and an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his daughter Tina Lynn Watts. paternal grandparents Jay and Ada Bailey; maternal grandparents French and Emmzetta Scott Watts; a nephew Jackie "Hobe" Watts; father-in-law Shelly Lusk and two brother-in-laws Homer Daniels and Ross Osborne. "Born September 18, 1952 in Pineville, he was the son of the late Leonard Trent (1922-1998) and Pearl Lorraine Cline-Trent (Deceased).

"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Trent (1943-1977), Billy Trent (1945-1981), Edward "Ed" Trent (1951-1998), Dewayne “Spunk” Trent (Deceased), Donald Gene Trent (1957-1957), and Raymond Trent (Deceased); and his sisters, Vernie Trent-Lester (1948-Deceased) and Louise Trent-Edwards (Died in 2012).
