Bertie was born October 21, 1945 in Elk Creek, Virginia, the daughter of the late Bill and Marie Hurley Rife. Bertie was a devoted Wife and Homemaker, Member of The Ikes Fork Freewill Baptist Church and a loving and caring mother and grandmother who was loved by all. In addition to her parents, Bertie was preceded in death by three grandchildren: Steven Cline, as well as Kelly and Kayla East.Surviving family includes: her loving husband of 52 years, Harold Justice of the home, four children: Mervin White and wife, Tina of Ikes Fork, WV; Joyce Cline and husband, Dennis of Ikes Fork, Pam East and husband, Bill and Kristy Blackmon and husband, Marlon all of whom reside in Tuscaloosa, AL; eight grandchildren: Dustin White, Patti Marie Vance, Holly Steele, Savannah Fortner, Daniel Cline, Seth East, Karleigh Blackmon and Mekhi Blackmon; nine great grandchildren: Logan Vance, Breyden Vance, Jackson Vance, Bella Vance, Addie Vance, Kaleb Steele, Kinley Steele, Sarah Grace White and Brady Fortner; two sisters: Merlene Blankenship and Debbie Roberts both residents of Kentucky, as well as one brother, Lonzo Riffe of Elk Creek, Virginia.
