"Rosie Pearl Toler Perry, 95, of Cyclone, WV, finished her race and crossed the finish line on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Rosie was born on January 22, 1926 at Toney Fork, WV to the late Wilson and Adora Toler. Rosie was a member of Toler Missionary Baptist Church of Cyclone where she was president of Ladies Aide and at the time of her passing, she was the eldest member of the church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Hayes Perry; four sons Orville (Mary) Perry, Sherwood (Edra) Perry, Bill (Bobbie) Perry and Von Perry; her son-in-laws Jack Miller, Marvin Walls and David Spaulding; grandchildren Gary Miller, Jackie Miller, Denise Walls and Micah Short. Those left to cherish her memory and legacy are her children Betty Miller of Cleveland, OH, Judy Walls of Tallahassee, FL, James (Rita) Perry of Ripley, Darlene Perry of Cyclone, Mary (Frankie) Canterbury of Oceana and Sherry Spaulding of Oceana; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as great great grandchildren; a very special lifelong friend Anna Mae Toler; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 7th at Toler Baptist Church, Campus, WV with Rev. Merle Walls & Pastor Clarence
Gibson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Garden, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8 pm on Tuesday April 6th at the church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Erma Perry Mutters, 65, of Oceana, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born August 27, 1959 in Mullens, WV a daughter of the late Billy Ray and Bobbie Carter Perry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wilfred Wesley Perry, father-in-law Judd Mutters, paternal grandparents Hayes and Rosie Perry, and maternal grandparents Garland “Bud” and Stella Brinegar Carter. Erma was a born again Christian, a member of Christ Community Church, homemaker, and one of her favorite titles, Momaw to her grandbabies that she loved to spoil. She had a passion for decorating and shopping, making the trips so much fun with her laughter. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 42 years, Tim Mutters, her sons Joshua Mutters and wife Tracey of Waynesboro, VA, Timothy Mutters of Oceana, her mother-in-law Margaret Mutters of Davin, her two grandchildren Luxley Mutters and Zeke Mutters of Waynesboro, VA, four sisters Gloria Brinkley of Cyclone, Karen Browning and husband Pat of Cooks Addition, Teresa Justice and husband Timmy of Davin, and Jennifer Mathis of Dunbar, one brother Brian Perry and wife Robin of Accoville, nieces and nephews Tessa Brinkley, Patrick Browning, Stephanie Browning, T.J.
