"Mary Katherine Brewster, 89, of Welch WV, passed away, Monday, January 4, 2016, at her residence. Born September 3, 1926, in Lilly Brook WV, she was the daughter of the late, Simon and Lillian Barnes Marshall. She was a resident of Welch the greater part of her life, and she was a charter member of the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Welch WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, Paul Brewster, and one sister. Survivors include, one daughter, Martha Brewster of Elkins WV, several cousins, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 12 noon from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch WV, with Pastor Chuck Hammond officiating, burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton WV..."

"Mary Magdalene Fuller, 96, of Princeton, WV, and formerly of Maybeury, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Princeton Health Care facility in Princeton."Mary was born on March 19, 1923 in McDowell County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Frances Patterson Witherspoon. She was a resident of Maybeury and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was a retired cook for McDowell County Board of Education and a retired seamstress of the Kimball Sewing Company.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Fuller; and a son, Leron Dula.
"Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Wilson; special caregivers, Rev. Harold P. Calloway and wife Geraldine of Elkhorn; 2 sisters, Josephine Ross and Mary Quander; brothers, Ted Witherspoon and Roger Witherspoon; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her.
"Services will be conducted on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield with Rev. Robert Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with friends and family serving as pallbearers. "

"Donald, who was a long time resident of Bluefield, WV, and departed this life on Friday, in Princeton Community Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Bluefield and the son of the late Roosevelt Sr. and Louie M. (Steele) Patterson. Donald was a graduate of Bluefield High School. For a number of years, he was employed at the Hickory Springs Factory in Hickory, NC. Donald will be remembered for his love of family, being an avid fisherman and his favorite sports, both football and wrestling. He leaves cherished memories to his children: Sheree (James) Robinson, Donald L. Patterson Jr., Brittany, Jennie and Sabrina Robinson all of Charlotte, NC; his 10 grandchildren and seven siblings: Sylvia A Jordan of VA, Mable Ben of NV, Lillie (Carl) Bryant of NC, (his twin) Ronald L.
