He was born on September 23, 1963 in Simon, WV a son of the late Johnny Lee and Saundra Lea Harper Carper."George enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and most of all spending time with his family.
"In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Arelitta Myers and Charlene Carper; and two brothers Johnny Ray Carper and Roger Dale Carper.
"Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years Connie Jean Gibson Carper; a daughter Angel Beth Carper of Glen White; two sisters Jeanetta Hayes and companion Teddy of Lincolnton, NC and Marlene (Robert) Dyer of Denver, NC; three brothers Eric Carper of Parkersburg, Ricky Carper of Glen White and Rocky (Debbie) Carper of Martinsburg; and a host of other loving family and friends.

dedicated volunteer to Toys for Tots.
Not only collecting toys but hosting
events such as bingo to raise money.
"Jimmy enjoyed BBQ and cooking

and the Memorial Day Festival. He
was a former employee of Bluefield
Regional ‘in Billing and GTE "Fron—
tier". Jimmy's sense of humor was
priceless and loved to spread laugh-
ter. He was a lifelong resident of

"Born March 26, 1914, in Pocahontas, Va., she was the daughter of the late Sam and Eva Owens
McCloud. She has resided in Welch the greater part of her life and attended the Trinity Church of Welch.
She was an active member of the Friendship Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Adrian D. Ervin; a daughter Freda Hamilton; and several brothers and sisters.

"Reverend Nathaniel E. Burroughs Sr., who resided in Princeton, WV, and a long time resident of Kimball, WV departed this life early on Wednesday, in Princeton Community Hospital. He was born in Superior, WV, and the son of the late Frank R. Burroughs Sr., and Cleo Josephine Shade Steptoe. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Kimball. He was a graduate of Kimball High School and a Veteran of the U. S. Army. Upon being called to Pastor, he had served at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Thorpe, WV for 29 years. He faithfully served as the moderator of the Flat Top Association, President of the Flat Top Ministers and Deacons Union. He also served on the Churchmanship Committee, the Executive Board for the WV Baptist State Convention and was Researcher for the State Congress of Christian Education. After retiring from the coal mines, he was employed and retired from Welch Community Hospital as a certified nurse's assistant. While living in Kimball the greater part of his life, he had served as a councilman-at-large for the town and was an active member of the Mercer Co. Veterans Association. Nathaniel enjoyed spending time with his family, both studying and preaching God's Word and sports.
