"A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1 PM from the Helping Hands Holiness Church in Hemphill with Pastor J. B. Robinette, officiating.
"In keeping with the wishes of the family the body has been cremated, and there will be no visitation.

She loved working with children and was a teacher’s Aid in the McDowell County School System. Serita enjoyed Lifetime and Hallmark movies.
"Serita was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Boothe; her mother, Merida Blankenship; stepfather, Phil Blankenship; brother, Allen Boothe and a cousin, Barbara Mullins.
"Survivors include two sons, Robbie Collins and wife Samantha of Belfast and Zachary Boothe and girlfriend Brette Blankenship of Princeton; two sisters, Angeline Smith of Snow Camp, NC and Selena Blankenship of Bradshaw; two nephews, Scottie Smith and wife Danielle of Snow Camp and Jason Smith and wife Kelli of Paynesville; two nieces, Shay Stacy and Matthew Justice of Rosedale, and Ashley Bowman and Noah Brown of Richlands; special family member Veronica Bowman and husband Todd of Bradshaw; five grandchildren, Dustin Boothe, Jayden Smith, Jacob Smith, Kaylen Smith and Emma Smith; special friends and family, Ileen and Timmy Mullins, Tamar and Josh Mullett and Jennifer and Chris Kennedy; and a host of additional family and friends.
"Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 11 o’clock with Deacon Jason Smith officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in Tom Sparks Cemetery on Rockridge near Paynesville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
